The Best of NATure and Science

2010-12-21_cover_BYOU_Summer2010Beautiful You Editorial Assistant Lucy Webb talks to Claire Mitchell about The Natalie Group and NAT. products.

The NAT brand was founded in 1987 and is based on combining the rejuvenating properties of natural plant extracts and essences. More than 20 years later, The Natalie Group has expanded to be one of Australia’s leading natural skin and body care manufacturers. Having a passion for nature and aromatherapy, Claire Mitchell acquired the company as the CEO in 2009 and rebranded and refreshed NAT’s image to enhance and extend it to a new level.

Claire is supported by a team of researchers, scientists, quality controllers and beauty therapists to provide ultimate product performance to the target market. Known for centuries for its health and beauty benefits, nature’s ingredients are at the core of the NAT range. With the help of technology, the product formulas are aligned with the brand philosophy and mission. The blend of plant extracts and essential oils is the recipe that works in harmony with the skin for nourishment, regeneration and cell support. Free from any harmful chemicals, NAT products surpass quality control measures and are manufactured in a TGA licensed (Therapeutic Goods Administration) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) approved manufacturing facility in South East Queensland.

What inspired you about NAT?

I have always had a passion for nature and saw a lot of potential growth for the NAT brand. The fusion of aromatherapy plant extracts and essential oils revitalise

beauty and health and enhance the overall well-being. So I saw a great opportunity to revamp NAT into a luxurious and upmarket brand and increase its exposure. These products have been endorsed and trusted by Australian beauty therapists for over 20 years so we have had a great response so far with our distribution stockists and target market.
